Description
Dental crown is a tooth shaped cap that is placed over a tooth to replace loss of tooth structure from decay or trauma. Dental bridge is a fixed prosthesis to replace missing teeth. Bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants surrounding the empty space. These the, called abutments served as anchors for the bridge. A replacement tooth called pontic is joined to the crowns that cover the abutments.
